My Journey: A Convergence of Art, Yoga, and Life Coaching
Welcome! I'm Midah, and I'm excited to share my journey and the philosophy that drives my work in art, yoga, and life coaching. My path has been a vibrant fusion of creativity, mindfulness, and personal growth, driven by a passion for guiding others towards fulfilment.
Art has always been my anchor. With a fine arts degree from Lasalle College of the Arts, I've had the privilege of exhibiting my work globally, from London to Hong Kong and back to my hometown, Singapore. Alongside my artistic pursuits, I've contributed to designing significant landmarks in Singapore and cherished teaching art to both children and adults, nurturing budding talents and creative spirits.
In 1997, while living in Hong Kong, I discovered yoga. Initially, it complemented my active lifestyle of rock climbing and marathon running. However, it soon evolved into a profound practice that integrated seamlessly into my daily life. Trained in Alignment-based Hatha Yoga with Space & Light Yoga and completing my Hatha/Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training, I've had the privilege of learning from esteemed teachers such as Christina Sell, Desiree Rumbaugh, Lynn Yeo & Sumei Shum, Carlos Pomeda, and Ross Rayburn. What captivated me most about yoga was its blend of Eastern philosophical teachings and Western psychology—an integration that laid the groundwork for a harmonious and meaningful life, principles I weave into every class. The synergy of art and yoga has granted me the freedom to explore the mind, body, and spirit in a holistic and transformative way.

In 2020, I deepened my practice by completing Meditation Teacher Training in the Himalayas, enhancing my understanding of mindfulness and inner peace practices. This experience further enriched my approach to yoga and life coaching, allowing me to integrate meditation techniques into my sessions for a more holistic wellness approach.
In addition to my artistic and yoga journey, I pursued a Graduate Diploma in Social Psychology and Counseling, deepening my understanding of human behaviour and emotional well-being. This background enriches my approach to life coaching, enabling me to offer comprehensive support in personal development.
In 2022, I took a significant step by obtaining my Professional Life Coaching certification. With nearly a decade of experience teaching yoga and holding an E-RYT 500 certification—the highest level recognized by Yoga Alliance US—I recognized a natural alignment between yoga's principles and the transformative potential of life coaching. This certification marked a profound milestone, integrating my expertise in art, yoga, psychology, counselling, and meditation into a cohesive approach to personal development. Today, as a certified life coach, I empower individuals to achieve their goals and discover inner peace. My sessions are meticulously crafted to encompass physical, mental, and emotional well-being, fostering enduring transformations.
